The laundry room

The laundry room can only be used by those who live in the building. It is everyone's responsibility to keep it clean and to take care of the machines.

Rules for the laundry room

General rules

• You can only do laundry when you have an appointment.
• Only use the machines included in your booking.
• If you haven't started washing within 30 minutes, another tenant can take your washing time.

Use of the machines

• Clothes containing steel hangers and other loose parts should be washed in a mesh bag. Loose parts can damage both the washing machines and your clothes.
• Cleaning materials (such as mops or rags) must not be washed in the machines.
• Empty the pockets of clothes before putting them in the machine.
• Think about the environment! Dispense detergent and fabric softener according to the instructions on the package.
• The detergent compartments should be clean of detergent both before you start washing and after.
• You must not use chlorine or other bleach in the machines.

When you have finished washing

• Wipe the machine dry. There should be no detergent residue in or around the washing machine.
• Make sure the detergent compartments are empty. Wipe the compartments with a clean cloth.
• Leave the doors open so that it does not get damp.
• Clean the filter in the drying cabinet and dryer.
• Sweep the floor and wet wipe with clean water if necessary.
• Take all your clothes with you when you are done. If you leave clothes, they will be thrown away.
• Throw empty packaging in the recycling.
• Always leave the laundry room as you want it to be when you start washing.
