We are here to support you while you live with us. Our aim is to increase your chances of moving to a home on the mainstream housing market and getting the key to your own door.
New as a tenant
When you move in with SHIS, you sign a
- rental agreement
- waiver of security of tenure.
Waiving security of tenure means that you do not have the right to stay in the apartment when your rental period is over. You cannot extend the contract either. You must sign the contracts before you move in.
Your period of residence with SHIS is limited
When you live with us, you should look for housing on the regular housing market. To increase your chances of finding your own home, we will give you guidance and support. We adapt our guidance to your needs.

Your place on the waiting list at the Housing Agency
You will keep your place on the Housing Agency's waiting list if you pay your rent on time and pay the fee to the Housing Agency.
To increase your chances of getting your own home, it is important that you join several housing queues. Our staff will be happy to help you with tips and advice!
